Short Profile of the Person: Born in Germany and based in Dubai since 1997. Peter Neuschaefer is Director Middle East for the Water, Energy & Environment Technologies of Waagner Biro Gulf, a daughter company of Waagner Biro Holding – Vienna, Austria, founded 1854. He is an Engineer for Industrial processes.
His industrial experience spans from productions processes for the tool - and machine industry up to waste, water and energy management solutions. Previous work experience includes 20 years as General Manager of his own company international trade. Trade experience with Europe, Asia and the USA of industrial goods has given him cosmopolitan business experiences.
He founded the “Wetland for Drylands” concept 2007 with Dr. Peter Bridgewater, former Secretary General of the Ramsar Convention for Wetlands.
He is currently promoting the decentralized wastewater treatment concept through constructed wetlands by separations of grey-water and black water, biomass production, Co2 reduction processes and alternative energy solutions for the Middle East.
He is member of the Emirates Green Building Council.
