Short Profile of the Person:
Dr. Wassim Bahr obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture, and a PhD degree in Building Technology and Design from the University of Florence in Italy. His major professional and research interests include the issues of sustainable design. His research topic was on energy efficiency in buildings and high performance building façades.

He has worked freelance as an architect and graphic designer, and he has collaborated with the Alternative Energy Office of Florence on the sustainable refurbishment of school buildings in Tuscany (Italy).

At present he is an assistant professor of architecture and interior design at the American university of Dubai.
