Short Profile of the Person:
Greg Mueller is the Marketing Director for Ruud Lighting and is responsible for the BetaLED® THE EDGE™, LEDway™ and Essential Interior LED™ brands.  Since joining Ruud Lighting in 2006, Greg led his Team to create the brand identity for BetaLED now recognized as the industry leader of outdoor LED luminaires.

Greg brings a wealth of experience in both BtoB and consumer marketing to Ruud Lighting.  Most recently, Greg was a Global Marketing Manger with SC Johnson Consumer Products where he led innovation and commercialization of new products for the Raid, Off! and Ziploc brands.

At Ruud Lighting, Greg introduced new tools and fresh ideas to improve sales and marketing programs and create top-of-mind recognition of BetaLED and its sub-brands.  Greg is currently working in International Market Development to launch BetaLED globally and to integrate partners around the world. 

Mr. Mueller is a Board member of the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) and a member of the University of Wisconsin, eBusiness Consortium (UWEBC).  He serves on the Board of Trustees for The Prairie School in Racine, WI.  Greg speaks to a variety of organizations on the topics of international business, product development and marketing.  He is on faculty as an Adjunct Professor teaching business at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  Greg is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and completed his MBA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Ruud Lighting Arabia (LLC) is an affiliate of Ruud Lighting Inc, based in Racine, Wisconsin, USA and is one of the largest private lighting companies in the industry. It was founded in October 1982 by Mr Alan Ruud and has continued to flourish since inception, currently having a turnover of over 100 million dollars and employing in excess of 1000 people internationally. The company manufactures products for the commercial, industrial, exterior, landscape, roadway and sports lighting sectors of the lighting market and has a philosophy of providing good quality, high value for money product.

In 2005 the company committed to the research, development and application of LED’s to the lighting industry and launched its first LED product range in May 2007. In December 2008 the company dropped all development of all tradtional lighting source fixtures to concentrate solely on LED luminaires. The company has been at the forefront exterior and roadway LED luminaire evolution in the last 2 years and currently has over 3000 installations both within the USA and internationally. This experience is proving invaluable in the task of engineering, producing, marketing and selling a revolutionary sustainable long life, low energy, low heat and recyclable light source products against those using traditional light sources.
