Iain Macrae graduated in Mechanical Engineering and some how found his way into lighting. Since starting with Thorn over 22 years ago he has gained twenty years design and technical experience including a whole range of projects in most market sectors. Iain is Head of Global Lighting Application Management at Thorn Lighting working with a team of specialist technical staff to give strategic, legislative and product application advice for the company and customers globally; he is Vice President of the Society of Light and Lighting and tutors at the Thorn Academy of Light.
