Graduated from Gramme Engineering School in Liège (Belgium) in 1984: Industrial engineer.
Vincent Briard worked, since then, for the building insulation sector. He held several positions in the quality, manufacturing and process development departments for Owens Corning in Europe.
Early in the years 2000’s his domain of responsibility shifted towards Marketing, and he was in charge of product management, for Knauf Insulation. Since 2004, he is also representing Knauf Insulation in Eurima, the European Insulation Manufacturers Association. He was chair of Eurima Market Development Committee for 4 years, and now he is chairing the Sustainable Construction Committee. Between 2006 and 2010, Eurima has actively contributed to the recast of the European Energy Performance of Building Directive, backbone of all national thermal regulations. Today, priorities of his Sustainable Committee relate to EU programmes such as EcoDesign of construction products, LCA standards, resources efficiency.
Vincent Briard is based in Brussels (Belgium), he is Head of Sustainability, Products and Buildings. He is leading all Knauf Insulation efforts related to the understanding and positioning Knauf Insulation products and solutions in terms of sustainability. He has established close collaboration with the University of Liège and consultancy to develop the company LCA program. He is also representing the company in the European Network of Green Building Council, where Knauf Insulation is one of the five sponsoring companies |
