Profile:
Dr. Nassar obtained his Ph.D. in Pavement Design from Virginia Tech. After his PhD, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Bradley University in Illinois where he taught pavement design courses. During his tenure at Bradley he conducted several research projects related to the anisotropic behavior of asphalt due to roller compaction and the identification of reclaimed asphalt pavements from cored samples. During his tenure at Bradley he served on the technical panel for the American Society of Civil Engineers Flexible Pavement Design committee and the Transportation Research board Flexible Pavement Design Committee.
He then left academia and started working as a consultant for several international firms and currently holds the post of Projects Director with Parsons in Dubai. He has designed and managed several strategic projects in Asia, Africa, Europe and Australia. The projects in his portfolio include Airports, Highways, Strategic Developments, and Sea Ports. |
