Glenn Platt is the Environmental Manager at KEO International Consultants. Glenn is a degree qualified civil engineer with a Graduate Diploma Municipal Engineering and Management and a Masters in Engineering and has experience in the Australian and Middle East solid waste management industry both as a consultant and as a manager of a municipal waste management department.

Glenn has been a regular speaker over the past two years at Middle East Waste Management Conferences, such as City Waste 2009 and the recent Middle East Waste Summit held in Dubai in May of this year.

As manager of a municipal waste management department he was responsible for community waste minimization and recycling programs and performance based waste management contract development and management.

As a consultant, he is responsible for the contract management for waste management services, waste stream characterization studies, preparation of local and regional waste management strategies, concept and detailed design of waste management facilities, development of site based environmental management plans for landfills and development of landfill rehabilitation plans.
