With its 30 – years of experience in the lighting field, he is recognized as an international expert on both lighting and energy usage in lighting. As a member of various international organizations, such as the Charted Institution of Building Services Engineer in United Kingdom, CIE and the Lighting Standardization Committee of Indian Bureau of Standards, he contributed to the development of new
energy sources and its applications. In 2002, Vipin was involved in the preparation of CIE 172 – “Glare from small, large and complex
sources” and has also published four research papers on lighting application at International level. As Head of international projects for the MENA region, he was instrumental for lighting designs, testing and commissioning of more than 160 landmarks projects around the world with many firsts.
