Profile: 

Michel Nachef (50) is the Managing Director and founder of PAC Technologies LLC since July 2007 (a manufacturing company operating in the field of construction chemicals in the Gulf region).

He holds a master degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Leicester (UK) and a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut (AUB) as well as an Industrial Engineering degree from the Saint Joseph University in Beirut (USJ). He has more than 25 years of experience in the Gulf and MENA region in the industrial and construction fields with major international companies. Michel Nachef was on many occasions a guest speaker and lecturer in the Civil Engineering schools in the Lebanese American University in Beirut (LAU), the American University in Dubai (AUD) and the American University in Sharjah (AUS) discussing concrete durability and how to extend service life of structures and new technologies in the world of concrete (such as self compacting concrete, ultra high performance concrete, corrosion inhibitors, etc). He was as well an active member the EEG (Emirates Environmental Group) and a guest speaker in its events (how to reduce waste water in the concrete industry in the UAE), and was one of the first members of the Green Building Council formed in the UAE., and part of the committee formed in the year 2004/2005 with Dubai municipality and Dubai Lab and a group of consultants to set the Durability parameters for concrete in the Emirate of Dubai.
