Profile: 

Pasquale Zaffaroni is graduated in chemistry and has been working since 1988 in Mapei, a multinational world leader in the field of adhesives and chemical products for the building industry, firmly established on all five continents.

He has 40 years of experience in the field of building chemicals such as repair mortars, structural adhesives, sealants, coatings, resins etc.. His know-how is the result of 17 years in the laboratories dedicated to Research and Development.

After this period, he was appointed to be Responsible of the Technical Service and 5 years later he joined his present position as Construction Chemicals Product Manager.

One of the most important publication is the one entitled “The Restoration and Consolidation of Archaeological Sites and Historical Buildings. Science – Research – Technology” included in the BAR catalogue (series of British Archaeological Reports published by Archaeopress) “ARCHAIA: Case Studies on Research Planning, Characterisation , Conservation and Management of Archaeological Sites”. This catalogue was published in 2008 and includes articles from different authors that attended the Archaia seminar in Bologna.

He authored several articles in different publications on construction chemicals. Furthermore he has been the speaker of many important international congresses and seminaries and he also co-authored several patents.
