Short Profile of the Person:
Mrs. Foster is a Corporate Environment and Sustainability Adviser with years of experience working in leadership roles in the private sector and government in three main areas:  1) Environment/Safety/Health (ESH) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Management for global manufacturers, particularly paper and packaging; 2) Environmental Regulatory Programs Development, and 3) International Sustainability Expertise.  She is currently working with several companies and organisations in the United Arab Emirates to develop and implement programs and processes in ESH and Sustainability.

Mrs. Foster was formerly the Manager of the Dubai Chamber Centre for Responsible Business for two years.  She was responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the Centre.  The Centre assists companies in Dubai to adopt responsible business practices that enhance performance and competitive advantage. 

Before coming to the Middle East , she was the Sustainable Development Manager and ESH Coordinator for a global paper and packaging company.  She currently holds the NEBOSH General International Certificate for Safety & Health (UK) and she is a professional member of the National Association of Environmental Management (US).  Also, Mrs. Foster holds a certificate in Environmental and Social Risk Analysis from the UN Environment Program Finance Initiative. 

Mrs. Foster has presented to international audiences on business ethics, corporate governance, sustainability and environmental and safety management in the Middle East, Europe, and the US .

Mrs. Foster is a M.A. graduate of the Energy, Environment, Science and Technology program of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
